The Security Innovation Competition (SIC) 2019 is searching for your innovative ideas to solve societal challenges. Previous winners invented for example a portable pulse rate-key for a more efficient guard in jails or a tool for a smarter and effective border control at Schiphol. Solutions where the Netherlands become more secure and fair.

Be inspired by this year’s theme! Because your creativity is needed. Invent a innovative idea and win €200.000 to develop your idea further together with a security partner from the government.

The theme of 2019: Smart Harbour Rotterdam. How can security partners collaborate more better, share and combine mutual streams of information in the harbour of Rotterdam? And thereby increase the safety? Watch this animation and be inspired!

Informationsession 5 March 2019

Come to the information session on Tuesday 5 March at the Auditorium of the Yp in The Hague! The staff of the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Justice and Security, Royal Military Police, National Police and other involved organisations will go in conversation with you about this theme. Also there are plenty opportunities to ask questions.
