Cybersecurity specialist Tesorion acquires industry partner Kahuna. This takeover is creating the largest independent full-service cybersecurity player in the Netherlands which can now offer its corporate, mid-market and government clients a full portfolio and even better services. The takeover is in line with Tesorion’s strategic growth ambition to be the ultimate Managed Security Service Partner for mid-market companies. It goes without saying that the focus will be on providing suitable services to clients to enable them to tackle any cybersecurity challenges you might care to think of. The clients of Tesorion and Kahuna will reap maximum benefit from this takeover because the services provided by both parties will be seamlessly integrated in specific areas.

As Martijn Hakstege, CEO of Tesorion, explains, “This really is a fantastic step for Tesorion. Kahuna’s philosophy, which is based on the belief that a successful cybersecurity strategy must consist of a one-stop-shop for your clients, links up perfectly with Tesorion’s. This takeover offers a number of synergy benefits to our clients. We believe this takeover is a win-win situation for our clients precisely because the market is still searching for relevant all-round providers who are able to offer a full and managed security portfolio.”

Daniel van Slochteren, CEO of Kahuna, adds, “There’s strength in numbers and that’s precisely why we decided to join forces with Tesorion. Our passion helped us to grow at international level and now it’s time to take the next step. The Tesorion and Kahuna portfolios complement each other perfectly in specific areas. In short, it is a fertile combination which will enable us to improve the services we offer to our clients.”

The takeover will see Kahuna become incorporated into Tesorion. After the takeover, Tesorion will continue to be a 100% Dutch company with more than 180 cybersecurity experts.
