Are you developing technology that could help law enforcement tackle crime? To keep up with criminals, law enforcement must innovate and adapt to new technologies. That’s why collaboration between law enforcement and the tech industry matters. The 2027 edition of the Europol Industry Days will take place on 3-4 March 2027 in Brussels as part of the EU Security Research Event (SRE) organised by the European Commission in Brussels.

Europol is looking for European private parties that offer technical solutions, tools, methodologies and processes based in the EU and Schengen-Associated Countries and related to key challenges faced by European LEAs, with particular emphasis on sovereign technology solutions and EU-compliant frameworks.

Europol welcomes solutions across the following eight areas, including but not limited to:

  • Lawful Access to Data: Multi-source evidence platforms, automated evidence processing, lawful access to encrypted data, and advanced cryptographic analysis.

  • Intelligence Analysis and Multimodal Data Processing: Digital forensics, intelligent data pre-processing, cryptocurrency investigations, financial intelligence-sharing platforms, and AI-powered disinformation detection.

  • Situational Awareness and Simulations: Digital twin mapping platforms, secure next-generation communications, VR/XR training solutions, and 3D-printed weapons detection.

  • Uncrewed Systems: Multi-mission operational platforms, swarm technologies, counter-drone detection and mitigation (C-UAS), unmanned security vehicles, and AI-driven robotics.

  • Synthetic Content Detection and Authentication: Automated multimodal detection, content authentication, and traceability solutions.

  • Sovereign Cloud and EU-Compliant Data Management: AI-enhanced cybersecurity, EU-compliant cross-border data access tools, and sovereign cloud platforms with built-in compliance frameworks.

  • Biometric Analysis: Dorsal hand recognition, voice recognition, and other biometric analysis technologies.

  • Other Emerging Operational Capabilities: Innovative technologies with operational relevance, including quantum technologies and neurotechnologies.

Selected participants will receive a free exhibition booth, giving them the opportunity to showcase their solutions to law enforcement practitioners from across Europe and explore how their technology can support investigations.
