International Kick-off at HSD Campus during Cybersecurity Week 2025

The Cybersecurity Week 2025 officially kicked off at the HSD Campus in the morning of 29 September. International delegations from over 10 countries took part in a tailored programme to give them an in-depth introduction to the Dutch cyber security ecosystem. A warm welcome to delegations from Sweden, the Czech Republic, Ireland, India, Hungary, Spain, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Taiwan.

The participants were welcomed to the City of Peace, Justice and Security by Saskia Bruines (Deputy Mayor of The Hague). Joris den Bruinen (General Director Security Delta (HSD)) then provided the audience with a brief introduction on the foundation and its activities in The Hague and beyond. Stephanie Ottenheijm from Topsector ICT then took the stage while talking about her activities within Topsector ICT, after which InnovationQuarter’s Martijn Van Hoogenhuyze and Philip Meijer gave additional information on doing business in The Netherlands for cybersecurity companies.

After a nice lunch, a speed dating session was organised to allow all participants to get to know one another better. In brief 20-minute sessions they introduced themselves and their organisation, leading to quick discovery of common ground, before the groups were mixed again to make more connections. The programme concluded with networking drinks and bites at Scheveningen Beach! It was a fantastic and energetic first day to the Cybersecurity Week, a big thanks to all participants, moderators, and speakers!

Cybersecurity Week 2025

The Cybersecurity Week takes place from 29 September until 3 October in The Hague, and is all about cyber security. During this week many events are taking place, giving participants access to cyber security knowledge, talent, capital, market and innovation. Highlights include the ONE Conference, the International Business Event, ECSO Cyber Investor Days, Consortia Building Session for EU Cybersecurity Funding, and C3SA Blue Team Training Session. These events provide opportunities to network, meet key players, discuss the latest developments, share knowledge and create awareness.
