On 4 December, Cyber Resilience Centre Greenport organised a roundtable on pentesting. A pentest is an investigation into vulnerabilities in computer systems, applications or infrastructures of a company. The meeting was intended for participants of the Cyber Resilience Centre Greenport. Experts from several HSD partners shared their knowledge. 17 Entrepreneurs took part in this online session.

Both large and small companies increasingly face cybercrime, such as ransomware attacks and data breaches. A good digital lock on the door is necessary. Companies can have the level and state of digital security assessed with a pentest. This gives organisations insight into the level of security of their IT environment. The right measures can then be taken to increase the digital security of the organisation, thereby reducing the risks of intruders with malicious intent.

To help participants of CW Greenport get more insight in the possibilities of pentesting, CW Greenport organised a roundtable. Experts from NFIR, Cyber4Z, Secura and Chapter8 shared their knowledge and afterwards, there was plenty of room for discussion and for asking questions.

With meetings like this roundtable, CW Greenport helps participants with skills and insights on digital security. This events was partly made possible by MRDH, programme 'Sectoraal Digitaal Veilig'.
