Entrepreneurs Enhance Cyber Resilience During Cybersecurity Week 2024
On Monday 30 September, as part of Cybersecurity Week 2024, a group of entrepreneurs participated in a Cyber Crisis Training organised by the municipality of The Hague and Cyber Chain Resilience Consortium. The SME Crisis Training is part of a series of events organised to enhance cyber resilience among SMEs in the region.
Over the past few months, several municipalities from the province of South Holland have come together to discuss the cyber resilience of SMEs. These sessions emphasised the urgency of enhancing cyber resilience and laid the groundwork for collaboration and concrete actions among the participating municipalities. The discussions also highlighted key areas where SMEs can improve their cybersecurity strategies and establish best practices to mitigate risks associated with cyber threats.
Cybersecurity Month
Numerous municipalities are actively engaged in Cybersecurity Month, raising awareness among entrepreneurs through diverse events and campaigns, in close partnership with PVO Den Haag, PVO Rotterdam, and the Digital Trust Center.
Cybercrisis training in city hall
During the cybercrisis training at The Hague’s City Hall, participants learned effective strategies for responding to cyber-attacks and safeguarding their businesses in the event of an incident.
We look forward to the upcoming events throughout Cyber Security Month that will enhance the cyber resilience of SMEs in South Holland. And in addition, contribute to the ambitions of IT Verband Zuid-Holland multi-year programme, which focuses on enhancing IT education, training, and fostering collaboration between businesses and educators, ensuring a steady flow of skilled IT professionals for SMEs in the region
