On 5 and 6 October 2016 , the 6th edition of the Astrid User Days, with an exhibition and workshops for all public safety services, will be hosted in Sint-Truiden, in the impressive Stayen football stadium.

This year, the ASTRID User Days are put in a sporty outfit. Stayen is a brand new location and offers the ideal congress facilities with a great view on both the football field and the surrounding apple orchards.

Since the first edition in 2003, the ASTRID User Days have steadily grown into a meeting place for all ASTRID-users and decision-makers in Belgium, for experts and for suppliers, and the international TETRA and critical communications’ community. The previous edition was attended by over 60 exhibitors and 1.500 visitors from the public safety field. This year’s edition will host an Innovation Corner where leading international experts will deal with future challenges regarding the relation between technology and society.

On Thursday the 6th of October 2016 the Enterprise Europe Network Flanders is organizing a B2B/B2G matchmaking event during the Astrid User Days. Buyers and end users from public security forces meet with product, service and solution providers for their technical requirements. The meetings will take place Thursday 6 October 2016 in the Skybar above the exhibition space starting from 9h until 16h. The participation in the matchmaking event is free of charge. Also the entrance to the exhibition is free for the participants who have planned meetings on the 6th of October 2016.
