Opportunities for Networking and Career Exploration during HR Event ICSSS2024

The Human Resource event took place Wednesday 21 August during the International Cybersecurity Summer School (ICSSS) 2024. This event is one of the most important elements contributing to the networking & career possibilities of the Summer School. ICSSS partners and other relevant organisations were given an opportunity to introduce themselves, and showcase possible career opportunities within their organisation to young cybersecurity talent.

A total of 10 organisations gave presentations at the HSD Campus. The organisations who participated are; Secura, Leiden University, Accenture, Booz Allen Hamilton, Connect2Trust, Group-IB, Keypasco, NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), Women4Cyber, and PRODAFT.

These organisations had the opportunity to present their organisation to the diverse group of 60 participating entrepreneurial students, young professionals and PhD candidates of ICSSS 2024 in the cybersecurity field. In 2-minute pitches they explained more on their organisation’s activities, and what they had to offer the participants. 

Afterwards participating organisations set up a stand on the campus floor, where they could speak to students one on one and hand out flyers and goodies. The HR-event gave the organisations opportunity to network and have one-on-one talks with young professionals, Master students and PhD candidates and possibly recruit them for their organisation.
