Welcome Our New Program Managers at HSD

Since the 1st of April 2015, two Program Managers, Robin de Haas and Hans van Loon, have joined The Hague Security Delta. Both Program Managers will be responsible for facilitating the HSD partners and to achieve cooperation between the triple helix parties; government, knowledge institutions and private companies.

Robin de Haas, Program Manager The Hague Security Delta since the 1st of April 2015
After getting a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Change Management, Robin served in the Dutch Army as an officer during military service. After this he joined Randstad for three years and worked as an intermediary between businesses and personnel.

Robin worked for 17 years at TNO Defense, Safety and Security. As program manager for the Next Generation Combat Aircraft and the Replacement F-16 program. His involvement with the Hague Security Delta started in 2007 working as program manager of the Secure Haven project. This project worked out scenario’s and blueprints for the municipality of The Hague to become a city that combines economy and security and is nice to live and work in. He was head of the department Networked Organizations which has expertise on Crisis management, Critical Infrastructures, Urban Security and Cyber Security. Robin has been responsible since 2011  for the development of TNO’s cyber security R&D portfolio.
His main focus area at the Hague Security Delta will be Cyber- National- and Urban Security.

Hans van Loon, Program Manager The Hague Security Delta since the 1st of April 2015
Hans van Loon has a technical background (Bachelor Physics) and started his carrier at Fokker Aircraft in 1986. Since then he has worked for The Ministry of Defense, Siemens Nederland and TNO. The last four and a half year he has worked for Fox-IT. The last eight years of his career he has become more and more involved in Cybersecurity. He has a broad network within Government, Cybersecurity companies and other institutions. This network and his knowledge of the security field and more in particular cybersecurity gives him a good position as program manager for the Hague Security Delta. His main focus area at the Hague Security Delta will be Cyber, Forensics and Critical Infrastructure.
