Third Edition European Cyber Security Perspectives Report Published
Several partners within HSD joined forces to share their knowledge and expertise. As a result they recently published the third edition of European Cyber Security Perspectives Report. In this report the expertise of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the National Police, Deloitte, Philips, Accenture, Zimperium and KPN, are included.
The report looks back at the developments in the past year with a summary of the annual Cyber Security Assessment in the Netherlands in 2015 by the NCSC. It also discusses various forms of cybercrime, including phishing. In the 2016 report many other interesting stories can be found, such as a piece on quantum crypto, cyber cops and a follow-up article on honeypots. Wesley Post of KPN wrote an article last year and comes with some results. The contribution of Zuk Avraham, Founder, Chairman and CTO of Zimperium, the company that discovered the stagefright leak in 2015, is worth reading as well. In his contribution ‘Wake-up call for the mobile ecosystem‘ Abraham looks at the discovery of stagefright and its implications for the mobile ecosystem.
