On 4 – 6 February 2015, The Hague will host the first edition of the European trade fair The Unmanned Systems Expo at the city’s World Forum. TUSExpo is aimed at the fast-growing market for unmanned systems such as drones and will feature both commercial and civil applications in areas including security, agriculture, industry, science, entertainment and environmental protection. Expected to attract some 3,500 international visitors, TUSExpo will be both a conference and a trade exhibition. During the conference, leading experts will speak on behalf of business, science and government on the latest technologies, their applications as well as relevant international regulations. The trade exhibition will demonstrate to visitors the possibilities offered by unmanned systems.

The Hague’s deputy mayor and alderman for economic affairs Henk Kool: “Following this year’s Nuclear Security Summit and the recent ASIS conference, It’s great to see TUSExpo choose The Hague as their conference destination too. The city of The Hague, with its security cluster The Hague Security Delta (HSD), is recognised internationally as the place to be for all matters concerning security. That fact attracts new businesses and meetings, which benefits the local economy. A conference like this one, bringing 3,500 visitors to The Hague, means a considerable boost for hotels, restaurants and shops.”
