Cybersecurity is everyone’s business. Last week, a delegation of Dutch cybersecurity founders and operators travelled to Boston, New Jersey and New York to strengthen transatlantic security ties and explore new opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

The mission brought together a dynamic group of cybersecurity leaders from the Netherlands ranging from established providers with an existing U.S. presence to innovative newcomers entering the American market for the first time. Together, they share one mission: to scale the next generation of cyber innovations and contribute to a more secure digital future.

Connecting ecosystems and sharing expertise

The programme combined high-level exchanges, ecosystem visits, and strategic meetings with public and private partners across three U.S. states. Participants engaged with Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) overseeing critical infrastructure, as well as representatives from academic institutions, financial organisations, healthcare providers, and fellow cybersecurity innovators.

Through these dialogues, the Dutch delegation and their American counterparts exchanged insights on emerging threats, best practices, and innovation strategies, reinforcing the shared commitment to advancing cyber resilience on both sides of the Atlantic. This visit underscores the strong partnership between the Dutch and U.S. cybersecurity ecosystems. By connecting entrepreneurs, knowledge institutions, and government partners, we can accelerate innovation and strengthen our joint response to global cyber challenges.

The mission represented a diverse cross-section of the Dutch cybersecurity ecosystem:
