Save the Date: Cybersecurity Week 2026

From Monday 5 October to Friday 9 October, the Cybersecurity Week returns to The Hague! As the the international city of peace and justice, and a global hub for cybersecurity, The Hague recognises both the challenges and opportunities of an increasingly digital society and remains committed to strengthening resilience against cyber threats. This is why knowledge sharing and investment in cyber awareness are actively encouraged. During Cybersecurity Week, these efforts come together: a diverse programme of events offers opportunities to connect, engage with key players, explore the latest developments, exchange insights and raise awareness across the cybersecurity community.

The 2026 programme is still under construction, but the following events are already scheduled:

Monday 5 October

• International Kick off Cybersecurity Week at the HSD Campus in The Hague
  Meet peers, potential business partners, learn about how to do business in the Netherlands and join the matchmaking programme. Open for international delegations and individual companies. More information soon!
  
  
• Hâck The Hague. During this event, ethical hackers attempt to gain access to the municipality’s computer systems in order to assess their digital security. By simulating real-world cyberattacks, they help evaluate how well the systems of the Municipality of The Hague are protected. Throughout the competition, hackers from both the Netherlands and abroad work to identify, analyse and help resolve potential vulnerabilities, ultimately contributing to a stronger and more resilient digital infrastructure.

Tuesday 6 October

• ONE Conference day 1 in The Hague (call for participation are now open!)
  Meet peers, learn about the newest developments in cyber security, participate in the matchmaking that will be offered and visit the Expo & Talent Hub. Lunch is included, day ends with a network drink. 
  
  
• ONE International Business Event in The Hague.
  After the first day at the ONE Conference, international minded cyber professionals can cross the street for a social night set up to facilitate meetings. There will be an open bar and a buffet. More information soon!

Wednesday 7 October

• ONE Conference day 2 at the World Forum in The Hague (call for participation are now open!)
  Meet peers, learn about the newest developments in cyber security, participate in the matchmaking that will be offered and visit the Expo & Talent Hub. Lunch is included, day ends with a network drink. 

Thursday 8 October

•  ECSO Cyber Investor Days at HSD Campus in The Hague
  The European Cyber Security Organisation’s pitch event will be held in the Cybersecurity Week. Cybersecurity Start-ups from Europe can pitch for two spots in the annual finals. Lunch will be served, social drinks after the event. 

Friday 9 October

•  Cyber Roadshow in The Hague. One in five entrepreneurs experiences cybercrime, which often leads to bankruptcy for those affected. In addition, millions of Dutch citizens fall victim to cybercrime every year. This needs to change. That is why the Municipality of The Hague will be working together with various partners at different locations across Zegbroek to provide entrepreneurs and residents with more information about cybersecurity.
