On 21 March, the Women4Cyber Entrepreneurship Award was awarded to cybersecurity company 'Modelverse', which is based at the HSD Campus in The Hague (NL). Women4Cyber (W4C) aims to promote women's inclusion and diversity in cybersecurity and is an initiative of the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO). Board members Reshma Pandohi Mishre and Lili Guo, proudly accepted the award on stage in Germany.

The W4C Entrepreneurship Award is aimed at cybersecurity companies (co)-founded by women and/or with at least 30% of women on the board. The purpose of the W4C Awards is to acknowledge and celebrate women in the cybersecurity field, as well as companies that are actively working towards achieving gender equality.

At Modelverse, all partners are equal, roles are fluid and divided to leverage strengths of each person with guiding principles: diversity, inclusiveness, collaboration, and multi-disciplinary viewpoints. Women4Cyber was delighted with Modelverse's unique solutions and huge market impact. According to Women4Cyber, the fact that 50% of Modelverse's board is women underscores their commitment to diverse leadership in cybersecurity.

Reshma Pandohi Mishre: "Half of our partners are women and this award is a wonderful recognition of our commitment to diverse and inclusive leadership in our industry."

Located at the HSD Campus in The Hague, Modelverse delivers a cloud-based solution for managing all areas of cybersecurity risk and compliance. Its solution arose from the need to bring cybersecurity to the board level in an accessible manner. Ownership of cyber security on the board is becoming increasingly crucial as cyber risks grow and organisations must comply with ever-expanding cyber legislation.

The Women4Cyber Entrepreneurship Award was created by the Women4Cyber Foundation in 2022 to recognise female leadership in cybersecurity.
