Join WICCON 2026: Bringing Together Cybersecurity Talent, Innovation and Community!
WICCON, the Netherlands’ leading cybersecurity conference with an all-women speaker line-up, returns to the Lichtfabriek in Haarlem on 29 and 30 October 2026. Building on the success of its 2025 edition, WICCON continues to celebrate women’s expertise and contributions to the cybersecurity sector. The volunteer-driven conference brings together professionals, researchers, students, policymakers, and industry leaders to share knowledge and strengthen the cybersecurity community. With around 500 expected attendees, the 2026 edition will be the largest to date. Security Delta (HSD) is excited to support WICCON as an endorsing partner.
Women remain underrepresented on conference stages throughout the cybersecurity sector, despite their significant contributions to the field. WICCON was founded to address this imbalance by providing a platform dedicated to showcasing women's expertise, innovation, and leadership. The conference programme is entirely conducted in English and focuses on cybersecurity and adjacent topics. Expected focus areas for 2026 include AI security and digital sovereignty, alongside a broad range of technical, strategic, and community-focused subjects submitted through the CFP. The all-women speaker line-up creates a unique opportunity to highlight perspectives and expertise that are often underrepresented at industry events while maintaining a strong focus on high-quality cybersecurity content.
Through this endorsing partnership, both WICCA and Security Delta (HSD) contribute to strengthening the Dutch cybersecurity ecosystem by promoting knowledge sharing, talent development, and greater visibility for cybersecurity professionals. The collaboration supports WICCON's mission of creating opportunities for women to share their expertise while helping to connect attendees, speakers, employers, and the wider cybersecurity community.
Growing Talent and Strengthening the Cybersecurity Community
Beyond knowledge sharing, WICCON plays an important role in developing talent within the cybersecurity ecosystem. The conference has built a reputation as a welcoming environment for first-time speakers, offering a supportive stage where professionals can gain confidence, share their knowledge, and establish themselves within the community.
Many participants return year after year not only for the talks, but also for the meaningful connections they make. Previous editions have led to new professional opportunities, mentorship relationships, collaborations, and career development across the cybersecurity sector.
The impact is reflected in the conference's continued growth. Attendance increased from approximately 300 participants in 2023 to 400 participants in 2025, with more than half of attendees identifying as women, a rare achievement within the cybersecurity conference landscape.
Interactive Workshops Included
In addition to conference talks, WICCON offers hands-on workshops that are included in the regular conference ticket. These sessions take place throughout the conference and typically run between one and four hours, allowing attendees to gain practical experience and deepen their knowledge in specific areas.
