Indurex has joined Security Delta (HSD) as a premium partner! Indurex is an AI-native, technology company dedicated to strengthening the resilience, safety, and security of complex Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). Their product unifies safety and cybersecurity data to deliver context-aware, operationally grounded Engineering Intelligence. We sat down with them to explore their activities, ambitions and what the partnership with HSD means to them.

Indurex was founded in 2025 by experts in operational technology, cybersecurity, and process safety, with the goal of addressing a growing gap in how Operational Technology and Cyber-Physical Systems are secured and operated. It builds on decades of experience in critical infrastructure, including previous ventures such as Applied Risk (acquired by DNV) and Shell.

The organisation develops an AI-native technology that delivers Engineering Intelligence for Cyber-Physical Systems. By combining safety, cybersecurity and operational data, Indurex helps organisations better understand system behavior, reduce risk, and improve operational resilience.

HSD Community

Indurex have been familiar with HSD for many years as a leading security cluster in the Netherlands and globally. Through their network and ongoing engagement in the Dutch cybersecurity ecosystem, formalising the partnership was a natural step.

Jalal Bouhdada, Founder & CEO Indurex: "HSD offers a unique platform where industry, government, and academia collaborate on real-world challenges. Becoming a Premium Partner allows us to actively contribute to this ecosystem, particularly in advancing OT and cyber-physical security"

Therefore, the partnership offers significant value through collaboration and knowledge exchange within a trusted network. It enables Indurex to engage with relevant stakeholders, validate solutions in real-world environments, and contribute to innovation in the protection of critical infrastructure.

Addressing a rapidly evolving threat landscape

Within the broader security domain, Indurex identifies a growing challenge in the rise of AI-driven and autonomous cyberattacks. These attacks operate at a speed and level of sophistication that conventional security approaches are not equipped to handle. Increasingly adaptive and difficult to detect, they require new methods that go beyond traditional detection mechanisms.

At the same time, industrial environments are becoming more autonomous, which introduces additional complexity. In Cyber-Physical Systems, responses to threats must not only be fast and intelligent, but also consider safety, operational continuity, and physical impact. This creates a clear need for advanced, context-aware solutions that can operate reliably in operational technology (OT) environments.

Collaboration across critical sectors

Indurex actively collaborates with organisations across sectors such as energy, manufacturing, utilities  and other critical infrastructure. The company works closely with technology partners within the industrial ecosystem to further develop and implement innovative solutions.

Looking ahead, Indurex is keen to expand these collaborations, particularly in the areas of OT cybersecurity, AI applications in industrial environments and Cyber-Physical Systems resilience. The focus lies on real-world use cases where measurable impact can be demonstrated.

Ambition: becoming a trusted intelligence layer

Indurex’s long-term ambition is to become a trusted intelligence layer for industrial environments, enabling organisations to operate more safely and securely as systems become increasingly autonomous and interconnected.

The timing of this ambition is particularly relevant. Europe is entering a new phase shaped by regulatory developments such as NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act, as well as growing geopolitical tensions and the need for technological sovereignty. These developments are raising the bar for cybersecurity and resilience, especially within critical sectors, where organisations are expected to demonstrate tangible and measurable protection.

At the same time, there is currently no clear European leader focused on Cyber-Physical Systems resilience at the intersection of safety, cybersecurity and AI. According to Indurex, this presents both an opportunity and a responsibility for European innovation to take the lead.

Strengthening Europe’s digital resilience through collaboration

Within this context, collaboration plays a crucial role. Indurex emphasises the importance of ecosystems such as HSD in bringing together industry, government, and knowledge institutions to address complex security challenges.

By contributing its expertise and actively engaging in partnerships, Indurex aims to support the development of sovereign, resilient, and secure industrial systems, helping to safeguard Europe’s critical infrastructure and industrial future.
