Indo-Dutch Cyber Security Digital Mission

Increasing cyber security threats lead tot he need of cooperation and coordination amongst parties in the cybersecurity ecosphere. It is here that the relationship between DSCI and HSD takes shape in the pursuit of increasing the cyber security and resilience of India and the Netherlands during this Digital mission. 

 

On 1 October, the Digital Mission India-Netherlands Cybersecurity was successfully launched with an Inaugural session. This event featured a number of dignitaries that spoke on the importance of cooperation and co-creation when it comes to securing a safe digital space for all. On this same day the Inaugural Session of the Indian-Dutch Cyber Security School took place through Zoom Webinars. More than 350 individuals from India and The Netherlands attended the session on Thursday afternoon. 

 

Overview of upcoming activities

 

Doing Business in the Netherlands – Your secure gateway to Europe (October 13th 14.30 IST/10.00 CET)

The cyber security market in the Netherlands is growing at a rapid annual pace of some 14.5 percent. During this session the audience will be informed about the Netherlands, doing business in the Netherlands, and the size of the Dutch cybersecurity market. It will be a curated conversation followed by a collaboration on the challenges and opportunities at hand, followed by an actionable roadmap in an attempt to get collaboration started.

Public Private Partnerships – the way forward (October 20th 14.30 IST/10.00 CET)

The ‘’triple helix’’ approach (collaboration between governments, academia, and corporates) is a characteristic of the Netherlands and becoming a much sought-after blueprint for other countries. During this session a success story of a PPP (Public Private Partnership) project in the Netherlands will be presented and a dialogue will take place on establishing Joint Indo-Dutch PPP initiatives. Dutch Start up and Scale up Ecosystem (October 28th 14.30 IST/10.00 CET)

Growth in the startup sector has been steady since the financial crisis of a decade ago. The goal of this session is to create opportunities for start ups and to facilitate their growth. This will be done through a startup pitching format. Sign up here.

 

Wrap up (October 30th 14.30 IST/10.00 CET)

During the wrap up session upcoming trends and technologies will be discussed. The wrap up will be with the key achievements of the mission, and next steps in the India-Netherlands collaborations.
