The latest Cybersecurity Netherlands 2025 report (CSBN) shows that digital threats to the Netherlands are becoming increasingly diverse and unpredictable. Both cybercriminals and state-sponsored actors are expanding their attacks, sometimes with the support of private organisations. The use of generative AI by malicious actors also makes large-scale attacks easier to carry out.

Shifts in international relations have direct consequences for the country’s digital security and dependencies. According to the CSBN, prepared by the NCTV with contributions from AIVD and MIVD, digital resilience is no longer optional it is a necessity for both organisations and society.

At Security Delta, we recognise the importance of collaboration and knowledge-sharing to keep the Netherlands digitally safe. The report highlights that investing in knowledge, technology, and cooperation is crucial to strengthening the country’s digital resilience.
