As of 1 September, Check Point has joined Security Delta (HSD) as a premium partner.

It is the world’s largest pure-play cybersecurity provider, and provides cyber security solutions to governments and corporate enterprises globally. Having started three decades ago with the invention of the first stateful inspection firewall technology, it has now over 100.000 clients and develops solutions to protect customers from cyber-attacks with an industry leading catch rate of malware, ransomware and other types of attacks. Check Point achieves its goals by focusing on four pillars:

  • Securing the network
  • Securing users and access
  • Securing the Cloud
  • Applying the ‘Check Point Infinity’ program, the only consolidated cyber security solution

The fact that Check Point focuses on all aspects in digital security can be traced back to their mission: to secure your everything.

Share knowledge

The main objective of Check Point to become a partner with Security Delta (HSD) is to share its knowledge and expertise. Furthermore, Check Point looks forward to helping other HSD partners in finding solutions to their security challenges.

Especially on topics such as zero trust, ICS, IOT, infrastructure as a code, CI/CD, threat intelligence and multi-cloud security.

“Without a consolidated cyber security approach, I wouldn’t be able to sleep peacefully at night. Consolidating all cyber security solutions an organisation uses, is key to simplify and to address the most pressing cyber needs.” says Martin Broeders, Major Account Manager at Check Point.

Prevention rather than detection

Besides focusing on consolidation, Check Point stresses the importance of prevention rather than detection.

Martin: ‘’Shadow IT, social engineering, double and even triple extortion are techniques commonly used by cybercriminals. When you notice malicious activity in your organization, it might already be too late to avoid severe damage.’’

Having a recovery plan ready and knowing who to contact in case a major attack would occur, can help organizations to get back on track. An Incident Response Team for instance is available 24/7, to support victimized organizations.

HSD is delighted with Check Point having joined the security cluster and looks forward to a strong collaboration.
