AI, Privacy, Information Security… Boring? Absolutely not!

Last week, 36 teams from HSD Premium partner 'De Nederlandsche Bank' (DNB) took on the challenge of the escape room ‘Nothing to Hide?’. This creative and interactive experience encouraged participants to reflect on DNB’s information management and digital security. Through this escape room, DNB not only raises awareness but also highlights the importance of handling data with care. For an organisation where trust and stability are essential, it is crucial that everyone understands how to manage information securely and responsibly.

This year, participants were challenged to handle a Freedom of Information (FOI) request and redact data themselves, find a password hidden in a wrongly stored document, and solve an AI-related task where, quite amusingly, the answer couldn’t possibly be wrong.

By combining learning with play, DNB shows that strengthening digital awareness can be both engaging and effective, helping every employee contribute to a culture of security and trust.
