SecurityHive recently became a premium partner of Security Delta (HSD), reinforcing its commitment to making cybersecurity accessible and easy to use. Founded in 2017, SecurityHive’s core mission has always been to simplify cybersecurity for organisations through innovative, user-friendly solutions — with its flagship Honeypot technology.

SecurityHive started out using a new approach for cybersecurity: setting up honeypots to try to persuade hackers by tempting them into a monitored, controlled setting. By using this tactic, organisations could improve response efforts, delay damage, and buy crucial time. The ease of use of their cloud managed platform enables organizations to easily increase their security posture.

Moreover, SecurityHive focuses on delivering cloud-managed security solutions that are accessible to all, whether organisations manage security internally or rely on Managed Service Providers. This accessibility is reflected not only in their technology but also in their pricing and customer service.

“We lure hackers into a controlled environment where we can analyze them, slow them down, and help our customers gain valuable time. It reduces time to intervene and delays time to damage—essential in today's fast-paced threat landscape.”

Involved in the HSD Community

SecurityHive first came into contact with Security Delta HSD in 2019 during a startup event by the municipality of The Hague. After some years of independent growth, the company decided it was time to join a collaborative network.

“A lone wolf is a dead wolf in cybersecurity. A wolf thrives in a pack. Therefore, we believe in working together to build a safer digital world, and HSD’s mission aligns perfectly with that vision.”

Driving innovation and collaboration

SecurityHive provides its necessary knowledge and unique insights from the data gathered by its solutions as a component of the HSD security cluster. The larger cluster uses this intelligence to develop new approaches to safeguarding digital environments. The collaboration additionally enables valuable information sharing and opportunities to explore new security issues.

Addressing human and technical challenges

A significant issue in today's advanced security environment, according to SecurityHive, is the widening gap between technology and human ability to handle it. Organisations require simpler, convenient solutions due to the lack of skilled cybersecurity professionals and the growing complexity of tools. SecurityHive is committed to simplifying the understanding and management of cybersecurity.

SecurityHive has collaborated with businesses in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, local government, and technology and finance. With a solid base in the Benelux, the company is now focusing on the Nordics, in line with its mission of enabling effective cybersecurity for a growing number of people.

Therefore, by combining deep technical insights with a clear, user-focused approach, SecurityHive’s addition to the HSD security cluster strengthens the ecosystem’s ability to innovate and collaborate in making cybersecurity more accessible and effective.
