KPN Seminar Zero Days - Alert Online
During a zero day attack a malicious person tries to make use of so called software vulnerabilities which are unknown to others and even the software engineer. Police forces use these vulnerabilities to prevent cyber crime or terrorism. The Dutch act ' Wet Computercriminaliteit III' makes it possible for police forces to use and examine these vulnerabilities without responsible disclosure. It creates a vulnerable surface for the person using this software and remains vulnerable for malicious persons and police forces.
What is the impact of these developments and issues for you?
