Organised by:
StartupDelta

The How To Get There Summit will be organised in partnership with StartupDelta on November 17th. During this event innovative minds of the Netherlands come together to learn and do business in the Dutch innovation ecosystem. All relevant persons who build the Dutch innovation ecosystem are attending - corporates, innovation hubs, experts, startups and scaleups - to connect, share knowledge and learn from best practices. Entrepreneurs can find the resources they need to scale up and become successful.

Last year's How To Get There Summit was a big success when 2500 startups and innovation professionals came together to share their experiences and get inspired.

As a result 230 new connections were made between startups and corporates; 20 CEOs of multinationals came together with startup founders in a Captains Meetup to design a roadmap on how corporates can further boost the startup ecosystem. Among the 2500 attendees are Heleen Dura-van Oord (Business woman of the year, investor), Albert van Veen (CIO Schiphol), Han de Groot (Founder Matrixlab, investor), Paul Smits (CFO Port of Rotterdam) and Prince Constantijn (special envoy StartupDelta). The upcoming How To Get There Summit aims to stimulate the collaboration between corporations, startups and innovation hubs in the Netherlands. The summit brings you a mix of keynotes, startup pitches, workshops, speeddates and exposition floor.

The How To Get There Summit consists of 3 parts:

1. Get in the Ring (GITR) for startups: complete program for startups (free of charge for start ups!).

During the event, 100 startups will be selected to pitch and finally 6 startups may battle in a spectacular award show. You will compete for awards, a place in the Global Final (in New York or Singapore) and the attention of more than 1,500 potential fans! Next to the competition you can speed date 1-on-1 with more than 60 corporate innovators and investors (Matchups), attend startup bootcamp sessions where you learn how to pitch or become investible and get inspired by numerous talks of the biggest scale-up founders. Around specific themes key figures are invited to sit down in the cafe and network with the visiting entrepreneurs. For entrepreneurs who want to scale-up, there is a specific Growth cafe in collaboration with NLGroeit (a company that helps increase capacity for growth in SMEs in the Netherlands via online platform).
