Digital Mission India - Netherlands Cybersecurity
Oct 1 | 2:30PM (IST), 11:00AM (CET)
To strengthen the cybersecurity momentum of both India & Netherlands, The Data Security Council of India, Netherlands embassy in New Delhi & The Hague Security Delta invite you all to the monumental Inaugural event of Digital Mission India-Netherlands Cybersecurity!
The bilateral ties between India & the Netherlands have been very strong and old. The two countries share common ideals of democracy, pluralism and the rule of law. Both the countries have initiated dialogues and have had Cyber Security as one of the key thematic point of discussion at all the high level meetings.
The pandemic has triggered nation states, including India and the Netherlands, to call for crisis management measures, disrupting established order that warrants rapid adaptations. With lockdown as a primary tool to contain spread of novel coronavirus, it enforced a different way of working and collaborating. Work from Home (WFH) or Remote location was gaining popularity to account for work-life balance, but now has been enforced by circumstances. Majority of Digitally enabled industry has responded well. Because of sudden wide adaption of remote access, threat landscape has changed and there is sudden surge in phishing attack, network layer attacks and identify related attacks. Expanding security threat landscape require robust practices and state of the art technologies to maintain resilience.
Developing solutions and sharing knowledge on cybersecurity between Indian and Dutch partners allows us to develop secure digital infrastructures.
