Trends in Security Information
The HSD Trendmonitor is designed to provide access to relevant content on various subjects in the safety and security domain, to identify relevant developments and to connect knowledge and organisations. The safety and security domain encompasses a vast number of subjects. Four relevant taxonomies (type of threat or opportunity, victim, source of threat and domain of application) have been constructed in order to visualize all of these subjects. The taxonomies and related category descriptions have been carefully composed according to other taxonomies, European and international standards and our own expertise.
In order to identify safety and security related trends, relevant reports and HSD news articles are continuously scanned, analysed and classified by hand according to the four taxonomies. This results in a wide array of observations, which we call ‘Trend Snippets’. Multiple Trend Snippets combined can provide insights into safety and security trends. The size of the circles shows the relative weight of the topic, the filters can be used to further select the most relevant content for you. Control your digital risks with Attack Surface Management
Why do you need control over your attack surface?
- Technological developments result in bigger and more complex digital environments. Continuous digitisation leads to more services and infrastructure being hosted at external suppliers and cloud providers. That makes monitoring and managing your attack surface much more complex.
- High-impact attacks are becoming more frequent and complex. Threat actors use more automated attacks, ransomware that targets shadow IT, and attack via your supply chain. Understanding where your most critical vulnerabilities are is essential to take preventative measures.
- Regulations dictate to what standards organisations mustset up their security governance – and deliver proof of control. Authorities increasingly mandate security reports on topics such as data outsourcing and IT governance.
Cybersprint has introduced a new SaaS platform to help organisations regain control over complex digital risks related to their brand and digital infrastructure.
It does so through 4 main steps:
1. Identify your attack surface with an automated, outside-in perspective driven by AI.
2. Assess all assets for risks and vulnerabilities, including risk prioritisation & mitigation input.
3. Manage complex problems with custom insights & playbooks. Integrate data with your current tools.
4. Report your performance and risk-over-time with comprehensive dashboards and data exports.
