Nationale-Nederlanden is a financial services provider that offers products and services in the field of insurance, pensions and banking activities to more than six million private and business customers in the Netherlands. As a financial services provider, offering services in insurance, pensions and banking activities, cybersecurity is of great importance. Nationale-Nederlanden ensures that the personal and financial data of its customers is secure by providing optimal security.

With their cyberservice, customers can make unlimited use of the 'The Cyberwacht'. This service will help with damage or problems with equipment because of a cyber incident, cyber extortion and identity theft. The Cyberwacht is also available to give advice to prevent customers from becoming a victim of cybercrime. The Cyberwacht has now grown into a service with three supporting partners. Two of these companies are specialized in cybercrime and fraud and the third company does the problem analysis.

Besides this, in 2019 Nationale-Nederlanden initiated the cybersecurity service ‘Perfect Day’. The startup was created to successfully help SMEs to improve their cybersecurity. It has furthermore assisted entrepreneurs by organizing and maintaining the basic security of their company. On the 1^st of July 2024, Perfect Day became an independent daughter company of Nationale-Nederlanden.
