Security Delta & NCC-NL partner to accelerate public-private cybersecurity innovation in the Netherlands

Security Delta and the Netherlands Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCC-NL) have officially launched a strategic alliance uniting HSD’s ecosystem-building capabilities with NCC-NL’s coordination role in cybersecurity across the Netherlands and Europe, with a focus on public funding opportunities, innovation, and human capital.

By joining forces, our collaboration will focus on five key areas:

1. Strengthening access to funding: supporting SMEs, startups, research institutions, and public organisations in accessing national and European cybersecurity innovation funding. This includes support via the Cybersecurity Funding Portal to quickly discover relevant funding opportunities, as well as guidance on grant applications for programmes like Digital Europe and Horizon Europe.
2. Enabling strong consortia for EU funding opportunities in areas such as AI, postquantum cryptography, healthcare & human capital. Through curated sessions, such as those at FIC 2025 in Lille, we connect potential partners and enhance their chances of securing EU funding.
3. Contributing to the Human Capital Agenda: by supporting partners across Europe in addressing the cybersecurity talent gap and aligning best practices to increase the cybersecurity workforce.
4. Boost sector resilience and competitiveness: by facilitating collaboration between public and private actors on emerging threats, regulations, and applied technologies, so efforts reinforce each other.
5. Cross-border growth: helping companies grow and scale across borders by connecting them with strategic partners and leveraging EU funding programmes to accelerate growth across Europe. This is done in collaboration with other National Coordination Centres (NCCs) across the EU, which connect companies with expertise and opportunities abroad.

This partnership reflects a shared vision: to build a secure, innovative, and digitally resilient Netherlands and Europe, powered by public-private collaboration. By combining Security Delta’s ecosystem approach with NCC-NL’s coordinating role, we empower Dutch organisations to lead in cybersecurity innovation, both nationally and across Europe.
