ROC Mondriaan Tinwerf and Security Delta (HSD) Join Forces for Mbo Cybertalent Event
The Hague Southwest also focuses on digital security during the Cyber Security Month. On October 27, ROC Mondriaan Tinwerf and the HSD security cluster are organizing an Mbo Cyber Talent event. Here, MBO students have the opportunity to increase their knowledge in the field of digital security and gain insight into career opportunities through interesting master classes, interactive workshops, an exciting mobile cyber escape room and valuable networking opportunities. The event will be opened by councilor Saskia Bruines.
This talent development event offers students a unique opportunity to gain insight into innovations and careers within the cybersecurity sector through masterclasses given by leading experts. The workshops enable students to immediately put their acquired knowledge into practice, while developing practical skills to effectively tackle digital threats. In addition, students will have the opportunity to come into contact with professionals from the cybersecurity sector during a network market, allowing them to make valuable contacts for their future career in this dynamic sector.
Mobile Cyber Escape Room
One of the highlights of the event is the presence of a mobile cyber escape room. In this challenging setting, we encourage students to work together and sharpen their analytical skills, while testing their digital skills.
Education director of ROC Mondriaan Tinwerf Rianne van der Meij said about the event: "With this talent development event we want to invite MBO students to further develop their interest in cybersecurity and utilize their potential,". She added: “This event provides an inspiring environment in which students are encouraged to improve their skills and increase career opportunities.”
The Mbo Cybertalent Event will take place on Friday, October 27 in the Technology Innovation House of ROC Mondriaan Tinwerf in The Hague from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A cyber knowledge session for entrepreneurs from The Hague Southwest and surrounding areas will take place at the same location from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Human Capital Agenda Security
The Mbo Cybertalent Event is in line with the activities within the Human Capital Agenda Security, which Security Delta (HSD) has developed in collaboration with the CVD and input from approximately 70 parties. This calls for collective action to solve the shortage of cyber and security talent.
