NFIR, an expert in cybersecurity, and Z-CERT, the specialist healthcare cybersecurity organisation, have announced a strategic partnership. This collaboration strengthens healthcare institutions' defences against digital threats and underlines the joint commitment to a more secure digital future.

The partnership was initiated after a healthcare customer of NFIR specifically asked to integrate Z-CERT's Threat Notifications into NFIR's MDR (Managed Detection and Response) service. With this extension, healthcare organisations can count on:

  • Better insight into cyber threats: NFIR now receives all notifications from Z-CERT, including data such as IP addresses, email addresses, and phishing alerts.
  • Real-time threat updates: When incidents occur in the healthcare sector, NFIR receives instant notifications about current threats that could have an impact.
  • Advanced collaboration: Z-CERT's in-depth knowledge and investigations are used by NFIR to further optimise customer security.

‘’With the integration of Z-CERT's Threat Notifications, we offer our healthcare customers an even more robust protection mechanism,’ said Arwi van der Sluijs, Director of NFIR. ‘This is an important step in strengthening our MDR-service and our contribution to a secure digital healthcare environment.’’

The Care Detection Network

A key part of this collaboration is the Care Detection Network, an advanced online immune system that helps healthcare institutions guard against cyber attacks.

A Safer Future

This partnership between NFIR and Z-CERT marks another milestone in protecting the healthcare sector from cyber threats. By joining forces, the organisations are taking the security of healthcare facilities to the next level.
