On 12 November 2025, members of the Industrieel Platform Cyber Security (IPCS) gathered at the HSD Campus for their biannual meeting. The day focused on knowledge sharing, collaboration, and discussing the further development of the platform, which plays a key role in strengthening the digital resilience of the Dutch industry.

Updates and recent highlights

The meeting was opened by Johan Assies (IPCS), followed by an update from Marcel Jutte (IPCS) on the platform’s key developments and a reflection on recent events such as Cybersec, One Conference, ABISS, Cyber Security Week, the International Cyber Security Summer School (ICSSS), and the IACS coalition.

Insights from national digital security research

A key part of the programme was the presentation by Frank van Summeren (IPCS), who shared the results of a study on the implementation of the administrative agreement on digital security, commissioned by the Ministry of Justice & Security, the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, NCTV, and VNG. These insights formed a valuable basis for discussion on how IPCS can further strengthen its role within the national cybersecurity ecosystem.

“The strength of IPCS lies in the commitment of its members to share knowledge and work together on complex cybersecurity challenges,” said Marcel Jutte. “By combining industrial expertise with public-private collaboration, we are making tangible progress towards a more cyber-resilient Dutch industry.”

Member survey and future direction

In the afternoon, attention was given to the results of the IPCS member survey, in which members shared their vision on the platform’s future direction. The discussion provided valuable input for the continued professionalisation and collaboration within IPCS.

Key updates on cybersecurity developments

In addition, several substantive topics were covered, including an update on the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) by Ben Kokx, an explanation of CYRA OT by Bas van Hertom, and news from standardisation activities presented by Michael Theuerzeit.

Networking and next steps

The day concluded with informal networking drinks at the HSD Campus, where members exchanged ideas and connected about the future of the platform. With this successful meeting, IPCS once again took an important step forward in its joint mission to strengthen the cyber resilience of the Dutch industry by sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and working together towards a safer digital future.
