Gambit Cyber has joined Security Delta (HSD) as a premium partner! Gambit Cyber operates in the Continuous Threat Exposure Management space where it helps organisations build an AI Native and Risk Centric Exposure Management Program. They do this by unifying more than 15 AI Enabled Use Cases and workflows in a single unified platform giving unparallel visibility and actionability. This helps organisations not only reduce their Security Program TCO but also helps Security teams reduce their MTTD and MTTR.

Gambit Cyber was founded in February of 2024 by Anuj Kumar (CEO), who brings in more than a decade of rich leadership experience in security companies like ISight Partners, FireEye and Mandiant. He is joined by his brother Manuj Kumar (CRO), who also brings almost 2 decades of experience in Cyber Security, leading global GTM teams at Symantec, EMC, Cisco, RSA Security. The company was founded with a focused mission to unify preemptive security workflows in a single unified platform enabling their AI agents to handle most of the workloads of an already over-worked security team.

It is a fact that, in an organisation that possess some security capabilities, security workflows are fragmented with different teams (CTI, SecOps, ITOps, GRC) all trying to secure the organisation from their own limited visibility. This results in fragmented decision making, incorrect prioritisation and non-visibility into whether the security is actually improving or not. This makes it a nightmare for security leaders who have to answer a simple question to the board: “If we are hit by ransomware (or any other threat) today, how protected are we, can we recover and how much will it cost?” Gambit Cyber was formed precisely to solve this problem of security fragmentation resulting in incorrect or delayed decision making.

Continuous threat exposure management, unified in one platform

Gambit Cyber is a Netherlands based security company that operates in the continuous threat exposure management category. They have developed their SaaS platform called KnightGuard that unifies multiple security workflows in a single unified platform enabling multiple teams to quickly contextualise their work and understand how their efforts relate to organisational risk priorities.

Gambit Cyber work with their MSSP and channel partners to provide enterprise service offerings built on top of our platform.

HSD Community

Anuj Kumar has a long history with HSD: he first came to HSD in 2018 when he decided to pursue his second masters degree in Cyber Security. He unfortunately ended up not completing the degree, but HSD certainly left a mark. When Kumar started Gambit Cyber, he attended multiple events at HSD which only cemented his interest.

HSD is a leading institution that supports security startups in gaining visibility within the cybersecurity ecosystem while providing guidance throughout the go-to-market process, Kumar says. Contributing knowledge and experience to this community aligns with the goal of strengthening the ecosystem as a whole. Being part of HSD also supports a Europe-first approach by connecting with an established network of cybersecurity organisations and potential collaborators.

Anuj Kumar, CEO Gambit Cyber: "HSD is the premier institution that helps security startups not only get exposure to the security ecosystem, but also helps them mentor through the GTM process. The ecosystem of startups, investors and advisors are the key value add of HSD. At the same time, we want to leverage HSD’s ecosystem to help enable our GTM motion in the Benelux region."

Deep cybersecurity expertise

Together, the Gambit Cyber team brings more than 100 years of combined cybersecurity experience, offering significant expertise that can contribute to the broader cluster. In addition, the company provides strong knowledge and connections within the South Asian market, supporting organisations that aim to expand into the region by connecting them with the right partners and opportunities.

Solving fragmentation in security operations

Gambit Cyber recognises a general challenge within the security domain of fragmented security teams and tools, which often hinder effective decision-making and remediation due to a limited view of the overall environment. By enabling teams such as ITOps, SecOps, GRC and CTI to work within a unified platform, organisations can accelerate decision-making and remediation processes. This approach also supports the development of AI-native security programmes, as key decision points, such as scoping, identifying, prioritising, remediating and validating business risks, are integrated within a unified data model on a single platform.

Collaboration with enterprises and partners

The company has worked with a wide range of enterprises across sectors including telecommunications, financial services, retail and banking. In addition, Gambit Cyber has built a strong ecosystem of channel partners and MSSPs that leverage the platform to deliver services to their clients. Collaboration remains a key focus, whether through partnerships with existing cybersecurity companies or by enabling enterprises to optimise and reduce their security expenditures through the platform.

European ambition

The long-term ambition is to become Europe’s leading company for developing an AI-native, risk-centric Continuous Threat Exposure Management platform.
