LDE Safety and Security Annual Conference

Since our annual meeting a year ago, we are making great progress in our Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Safety and Security (LDE CSS) development. LDE CSS main goal is to connect scientist from the three universities to enable multidisciplinary approaches for research and education in safety and risk. Our annual meeting aims to inform you about the projects within the centre and to facilitate scientists from the universities to meet and connect to each other to come up with research question of civil importance. Prof.dr.ir. Genserik Reniers, Dr. Margreet Vos, Mr.ir Bernold Nieuwesteeg, Dr. Jason Pridmore, Dr. Elena Kantorowicz-Reznichenko, Prof.mr.dr. Hendrik Ploeger and Jos de Lange have confirmed to present their research projects.

13:10 - 13:20 Presentation by Mirella Tijhaar (HSD)
13:20 - 14:30 Pitches from project groups financed via seed money of LDE CSS.
14:30 - 14:45 Break
14:45 - 15:00 Interaction in small groups to formulate research and education topics for the themes within LDE CSS. At the end the conclusions will be disussed plenary.
