Cyber Mission Germany 2026

The Cyber Mission to North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) is designed for Dutch cybersecurity companies looking to explore opportunities in the German market.

NRW is Germany’s largest industrial region and home to a high concentration of companies in sectors such as energy, industry and logistics. These sectors are increasingly prioritising cybersecurity, driven by regulatory developments such as NIS2 and the need to strengthen resilience in critical infrastructure. This mission offers participants the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the regional market, build initial connections and explore potential opportunities for collaboration. 

The programme focuses on market orientation, knowledge exchange and building initial connections within sectors such as energy, industry and logistics, where cybersecurity plays an increasing role.

Participants can expect:

• Insight into the German market and regulatory context, including developments such as NIS2
• Meet organisations active in critical infrastructure sectors
• A visit to Cybics (Bochum), a regional cybersecurity event focused on practical challenges such as cyber resilience and incident response
• Planned company visits in sectors such as energy, water and industry (subject to confirmation)
• Networking moments with experts and industry stakeholders

Participation fee: €650 for one participant, €350 for each additional participant and free of charge for PIB members.
