Cross-border Event Digital Industry
Germany and the Netherlands focus on a collaborative digital future
How do Dutch companies keep up with large multinationals from China or the US? They could cooperate with the large German manufacturing industry! To stimulate this cooperation between Germany and the Netherlands, the German-Dutch Chamber of Commerce (DNHK) is organising the Cross-border Event Digital Industry on September 26th in Eindhoven. The main themes of this event are: smart factory, cybersecurity, data risk protection and digitalisation in industry processes.
The Cross-border Event Digital Industry is a follow-up on the economic mission led by the Dutch king Willem-Alexander and queen Máxima to the German states of Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland last October. “At the Cross-border Event Digital Industry, stakeholders from both sides of the border will meet and work together on accelerating the digitalisation in the industry” says Alexandra Sierra, export advisor at the DNHK. The participants will be guided around the Brainport Industries Campus, which contains several field labs. After that, workshops on smart factories & ICT, Cybersecurity for business practices and data driven innovation are scheduled as well as presentations about ‘Secure industry through cybersecurity’ and ‘Together towards a safe and successful European industry’. Networking is another important part of the event.
