The ASPIRE4SPORT in Qatar is Middle East's largest sports business congress and exhibition. As Qatar will be hosting the 2022 World Cup football tournament it needs to meet the requirements of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).The FIFA requires Qatar to make vast investments in new infrastructure such as hotels, railways, airports and nine football stadiums. Most of the contracts for these investments will be directly or indirectly tendered to foreign businesses and investors. This means: big opportunities for Dutch businesses.

'Holland Paviljoen'
For companies interested in doing business in Qatar the Dutch Sports Infrastructure and the Dutch Embassy in Qatar will organise a 'Holland Paviljoen' during the ASPIRE4SPORT. On this 'Holland Paviljoen' (Dutch exhibition space) Dutch businesses and investors in the sports and infrastructure sectors can network and join forces.

Chances for Dutch Safety & Security businesses
Safety and Security is one of the highest priorities of the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee. Qatar is developing strategic partnerships with international and national partners to help promote security and ensure compliance with major event security standards and best practices regarding the organisation of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Agreements on safety and security have already been signed with Interpol and the International Centre for Sport Security.
