Security Trade Mission to USA and Canada
The security sector in The Hague is growing. More and more companies in the field of security chose The Hague as business location. To further encourage this development, The Hague Security Delta invited representatives of leading companies such as TNO, NFI, Siemens, Thales, FOX-IT and Trigion to take part in a trade mission to the United States and Canada. The trade mission was led by the Hague alderman Henk Kool (Economics) and HSD director Rob de Wijk.
The mission included a visit to the ASIS global security conference in Philadelphia, discussions with the Dutch ambassadors in the U.S. and Canada. In the Pentagon (the U.S. Department of Defense) HSD discussed trans-atlantic cooperation.
