Cyber Roadshow Strengthens Digital Resilience Among Entrepreneurs in The Hague
The Cyber Roadshow in Segbroek brought local entrepreneurs together with cybersecurity experts to discuss how they can better protect their businesses against cyber threats. In the Fahrenheitstraat and Weimarstraat, entrepreneurs could ask questions, learn more about current risks and receive practical advice.
As organisations increasingly rely on digital systems for their daily operations, cyber incidents can have a serious impact. Phishing, invoice fraud, ransomware, hacking and online scams can lead to financial losses, compromised data and disruption to business operations. Simple measures can already go a long way in reducing these risks.
Bringing cybersecurity closer to local businesses
During the roadshow, representatives from the Municipality of The Hague and partner organisations visited the two shopping streets and spoke directly with local business owners. Entrepreneurs interested in further support could find out more about an advisory meeting with Platform Veilig Ondernemen (PVO), aimed at providing greater insight into the risks facing their business and possible measures to address them. They were also informed about upcoming cybersecurity activities and events in the region.
By meeting entrepreneurs in their own business environment, the Cyber Roadshow aimed to make the topic of cybersecurity more approachable and encourage businesses to take action before an incident occurs.

The Cyber Roadshow was organised by the Municipality of The Hague in collaboration with Platform Veilig Ondernemen (PVO), MKB Digiwerkplaats and the Cyber Chain Resilience Consortium (CCRC).
