ECSO Cyber Investor Days

The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) and the EIT Digital Accelerator organized the Brussels edition of the Cyber Investor Days, scheduled on 13-14 May 2020. Given the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the event will be held virtually.

The 7th edition of the ECSO cybersecurity business matchmaking events focuses on both the access-to-market (corporates business relations) & the access-to-finance (investments) support. During the Cyber Investor Days in Brussels, the promising European cybersecurity startups and SMEs will have a chance to pitch their cybersecurity solutions & hold B2B meetings with the leading investors and corporatesfrom Europe and beyond.

- Interested corporates and investors from Europe and beyond are invited to register here. 

- To be selected and pitch their product, the European cybersecurity startups and SMEs are invited to submit an application form to wg4_secretariat@ecs-org.eu. The application form as a Microsoft Word document can be downloaded via here.

Programme

 13 May 2020 – Afternoon workshop for investors (virtual tbc.). Investors are invited to attend an exclusive afternoon workshop, aiming to discuss the European cybersecurity funding and the concrete strategies for strengthening investment activities in the EU. Investors from Europe, Japan, Israel and the United States are expected to join the workshop. Corporates are invited to join the workshop if interested. The event will conclude with a networking dinner, sponsored by:

14 May 2020 – Pitch sessions and B2B meetings (virtual). The day will start with the pitch sessions of the pre-selected European cybersecurity startups and SMEs, as well as participating investors and corporates. After the pitch sessions, the B2B meetings will follow. The catalog of the pre-selected startups and SMEs will be shared with the investors and corporates before the event. The B2B matchmaking platform will be available to schedule the meetings before the event.

About ECSO’s cybersecurity business matchmaking events

ECSO cybersecurity business matchmaking events – also known as the ECSO Cyber Investor Days – aim to increase the market visibility of the European cybersecurity companies and thus foster the consolidation of the European cybersecurity market. The initiative has been designed to cover different investment phases – ranging from seeding to strategic investment, to M&A – and to provide market access support. 

Launched in 2017, ECSO cybersecurity business matchmaking events gathered more than 450 participants and provided a forum for more than 450 business-to-business meetings. Report on the past events is available on the ECSO website, here.
