Secura and Bureau Veritas are Joining forces

On 20 January, Premium Partner Secura announced that Bureau Veritas, a world leader in testing, inspection and certification recently has acquired a majority stake in Secura B.V.. Secura is a Dutch independent service company specialised in cybersecurity services. Secura will be a cornerstone in the cybersecurity strategy of Bureau Veritas.

 

The Dutch company recognizes the growing importance of cybersecurity and has been providing test, training and certification services for many years to their loyal customer base. As a next step in growth and international expansion, the board and management of Secura are excited to announce their cooperation with Bureau Veritas.

 

Dirk Jan van den Heuvel, managing director Secura: "We remain an independent Dutch company following our own strategy, but we do gain access to Bureau Veritas clients, especially internationally."

 

Bureau Veritas is a publicly listed company (Euronext: BVI) specialized in testing, inspection and certification. It was founded in 1828 with its headquarters in France. With over 78.000 employees, a presence in 140 countries and an annual turnover of 5.1 billion euro (2019), the co-operation enables Secura to access new regions and markets while offering essential knowledge and services to Bureau Veritas’ customers.

 

The choice for Bureau Veritas also further strengthens Secura’s reputation as an independent security services provider, fitting very well with Bureau Veritas’ compliance and conformity assessment services.
