Robot Care Systems Winner Herman Wijffels Innovation Competition

LEA, developed by Robot Care Systems, is a care robot that looks like a rollator and helps eldery with their daily routine. This new development won the Rabobank Herman Wijffels Innovation Competition and is co-developed by HSD partner Lobeco Fire and Security. The winners received investment to further develop their innovations.

With the Herman Wijffels Innovation Competition, the Rabobank aims to support innovations contributing to a sustainable future. The jury, consisting of professionals specialised in innovation and sustainability, reviewed all entries based on innovative capacity, social impact and profitability.

The care robot is able to support elderly with medication, walking and holding objects and makes them more independent.
