Who should apply?

The NCS3 is a crash-course in Cyber Security, providing the participants with a wide view of all current and emerging subjects in the field of Cyber Security. Deep knowledge of Cyber Security is not required to participate in this summer school. 

​The NCS3 intends to attract motivated students who are interested in the field of Cyber Security and would like to be introduced to both the technical and non-technical aspects of the field. This summer school aims to present the field of Cyber Security from many different perspectives so participants can get a better understanding of the field.

The program is also aimed at showing participants what the public, private and academic sectors are doing in Cyber Security, to present a snap-shot of what a career in this field could look like.

Our world is becoming increasingly digitized, making the topic of Cyber Security ever more relevant for policy makers, technologists, entrepreneurs and academics. This summer school will provide participants with an in-depth look into the field of Cyber Security. Regardless of where you see yourself in the years to come, additional expertise in Cyber Security will certainly enhance your competences.
 
 

Requirements

  • ​Applicants should be students entering or completing a Master’s degree, or be in the final year of the Bachelor's degree of a Science or Social Science field.
  • A letter of motivation of maximum 1 page (around 450-500 words)
  • A Curriculum Vitae (1-2 pages)​
  • The NCS3 will be taught in English. Application letters and CVs can be submitted in Dutch if applicant feels more comfortable in Dutch.​
