Geo Politics Course: Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA)

On February 11, 18 and 25, 2015 Lowlands Solutions Netherlands (LSN) will organise a Geo Politics Course with the primary focus on the latest developments in the (wider) Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA). In a 3-day course (1930-2200h, evening classes) in February several experts on the aforementioned regions will lecture on both historical background and contemporary developments.

From the Arab Spring to the current threat of the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) and from Political Reform in the Arab Gulf Monarchies to the recent Gaza conflict.

The course will be conducted in the Dutch language; course materials (literature) will be provided in both Dutch and English.
