The new National Cyber Campus in The Hague will bring together government bodies, knowledge institutions, and businesses to work more closely to strengthen the Netherlands’ digital resilience. The former Aegon headquarters in The Hague’s Mariahoeve district will become the new home of this initiative. Organisations including the Nationaal Cyber Security Centrum (NCSC), the Ministry of Defence, the National Police, the Netherlands Forensic Institute, Security Delta (HSD) and various other public and private partners will collaborate under one roof.
By bringing together expertise, knowledge and operational capabilities, the House of Cyber will strengthen cooperation, accelerate knowledge exchange and innovation, and improve the ability to respond to digital threats. Its ambition is to reinforce the digital resilience and operational strength of the Netherlands, the Kingdom and its allies.
Security Delta (HSD) plays an important role in the development of this initiative. Together with the HSD Campus and its extensive network of partners, HSD will also relocate to the new building. The National Cyber Campus will create new opportunities for public-private collaboration, joint initiatives, knowledge sharing and talent development, further connecting the national cybersecurity ecosystem.
The development of this national cybersecurity hub builds on The Hague’s long-standing position as an international centre for peace, justice and security. The regional cybersecurity sector already provides employment to more than 21,000 people. Bringing these organisations together will further strengthen the city’s international cybersecurity profile, create opportunities for innovation and talent, and stimulate economic growth in the sector.
