For the fourth time, CERT.be, the federal cyber emergency team of Belgium, is organizing the Belgian Internet Security Conference (BISC) in Brussels, together with the Belgian Cyber Security Coalition and other public, private and academic partners.

What is it about?
Cybercrime is costing businesses and our society a lot of money. Directly, through websites and network infrastructures that are taken offline, but also long-term because of espionage, sabotage and damage to your reputation.

With the upswing and innovation of cybercriminals, the end user becomes more and more concerned with privacy. Therefore cooperation is crucial: between private companies and government, between IT professionals and end users, nationally and internationally.

For whom?
The Belgian Internet Security Conference wants to reach IT decision makers and all those interested in strategies for a better cyber security from different domains (federal and regional public services, big and small companies and research and education).

What's on the program?
In the morning, several key note speakers will focus on their vision on cyber security in Belgium and abroad.
In the afternoon, experts show you the latest trends in the field of cyber security with cases and best practices relevant for Belgium with different perspectives on cyber security.
