SRIE2016 Innovation Room

On 1 & 2 June the Security Research & Innovation Event (SRIE2016) took place in The Hague. It was the place where 700 international policy makers, entrepreneurs, corporates, academics and practitioners came together to discuss the current European security challenges and get access to knowledge, innovations and market. The event that consisted of a conference, workshops, matchmaking programme and Innnovation Room was organised by HSD, The European Commission and ENLETS together with 50 partners.

The Innovation Room was opened by deputy mayor of the city of The Hague, Ingrid van Engelshoven and Mark Bressers, director regulatory reform & ICT-policy of the Dutch ministry of Economic Affairs. The Innovation Room showcased 35 innovations of which 8 were funded by the European Commission.
