Cybercrime Project MKB-Nederland in cooperation with HSD Partner ThreadStone has won EU Crime Prevention Awards

MKB-Nederland has won the European price for the project ‘’Veilig Zakelijk Ondernemen’’ (Secure Entrepreneurship) with HSD Partner ThreadStone as executive partner. With this project, recently businesses were actively informed and advised about fighting cybercrime.One of the main reasons why MKB-Nederland has won the price is its innovative project approach; businesses could voluntarily be hacked in order to test the vulnerabilities of their systems. At the same time, the project makes clear that it will take much effort to put cybercrime at the top of the agenda of SME entrepreneurs.
