USA media about collaboration NFI - NIST

The Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI), a Hague Security Delta partner, is being recognized by the US media for its successful business model. The institute is independent and self-financed. It does this by charging governments and other interested parties for its services. For example, the agency has sold a tool for performing forensic analysis on microchips to their US counterparts. Recently, some articles (article 1 and article 2) were highlighting the collaboration between the Dutch and US agencies. Officials from these agencies expressed interest in working together on similar projects and to cooperate on areas such as research and development, standards development, education and training, and forensics governance. These developments confirm that Netherlands Forensic Institute is continuing its role as a pioneer in forensics.
