Call for Participation: Legal Tech Challenge

In May 2018 the Legal Tech Challenge will take place. This challenge is organised by Leiden Law School Centre for Legal Entrepreneurship and Innovation in cooperation with Hogeschool Leiden. Students from any University or Hogeschool are invited to participate. 

Chatbot technology
The challenge is to develop a solution to a legal question through an automated response system incorporating chatbot technology. Build a chatbot on Facebook messenger or place it on a website. Easy to use tools and cool gadgets are provided. Please note that Dutch Law is being applied and your chatbot will have to communicate in the Dutch language. 

The prices

• Best over all solution wins 1000 euro
• Most innovative solution wins 500 euro
• Best privacy and data security wins 500 euro

The Kick-Off with registration of the teams and a short presentation will take place on 18 May. The Challenges are presented and the teams receive a goodie box. 19 May is all about the challenge and include some practical workshops in the morning. On 24 May all teams and guests are welcomed to the final of the Challenge. You can present and demo the solutions to the jury. All solutions will be judged on usability, legal and technology aspects.
