French High Level Delegation & Participants Young Talent Programme Visits The Hague during Cybersecurity Week

During Cybersecurity Week, a high-level delegation from France, together with 12 selected participants of the Young Talents programme (NL–FR), visited the HSD Campus and the ONE Conference. The delegation was led by the new President of Campus Cyber, Joffrey Célestin-Urbain, in the context of the Franch-Dutch economic year, alongside Arnaud Martin, the VP of CESIN, the French CISO association.

 

The French delegation took part in the international kick-off event, followed by a meeting with Joris den Bruinen, Director of HSD. In this meeting, Joris den Bruinen and Joffrey Célestin-Urbain discussed among other topics the lessons learned from Campus Cyber in France in relation to the ambition of establishing a Cyber Campus in the Netherlands.

 

Young Talent Programme (NL-FR)

Part of the collaboration between The Netherlands and France is the Youngh Talent programme. Aiming to invest in cyber talents. The programme kicked off at the Forum INCYBER (FIC) in Lille, in april 2025. Here, 12 selected talents were introduced to two challenges on which they have been working ever since. Throughout the process, the talents were guided by two coaches, Lilian Knippenberg and Rayna Stamboliyska. After finalising their presentations at the HSD Campus on Monday and getting introduced on main stage on the first day of the ONE Conference, the young talents presented their results on stage before a distinguished jury at the second day of the ONE Conference.

 

The pitch session was led by Cyber Ambassador Ernst Noorman (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). Also, Joris den Bruinen (HSD) and Esther van Beurden (NCTV) took the floor to encourage the talents and emphases the need of investing in the cyber heroes of the future. The pitches focused on two themes: one dedicated to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and the other to poisoned Large Language Models (LLMs). The talents did a great job pitching the results and answering all kind of questions.

5-year partnership anniversary 

During the opening of the ONE Conference special attention was given to the 5-year partnership between Forum INCYBER (FIC) & ONE Conference. Leah Postma (Management Digital Economy NL) and Guillaume Tissier (Director-General Forum inCyber) spoke about the collaboration, than being energised by the next generation of cybersecurity talent collaborating on real-world challenges.
