iT.eam, a leading cybersecurity and asset management company within Brazil, has taken a bold new step and has opened their first international branch headquartered in The Hague, with help of InnovationQuarter. Singrid Teixeira, International Business Expansion Manager for iT.eam, is excited to bring their Brazilian mindset of flexibility and warmth together with their high quality standards to a new market. The news was announced during the ONE International Business event on 2 October together with the Saskia Bruines, deputy mayor of the Municipality of The Hague.

iT.eam has more than a decade of experience within the field and specialises in two core business areas: Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Cybersecurity services. Their clients in Brazil range from banking to automotive and oil and gas, working with some of the largest institutions in the country. In their move to the Netherlands, they are looking to bring something truly different to the market, focusing not on off-the-shelf solutions but flexible and adaptable cybersecurity. The main services they are offering in their expansion is Security Operations Center (SOC), brand protection, pen testing, and vulnerability manager.

“Our unique selling point is the way we treat our clients,” explained Singrid. “We deliver services with the quality of a European Nordic country, linked to the flexibility and care of a Brazilian company.”

Focus on SMEs in Europe

The move from Brazil to the Netherlands is a large step and iT.eam are already on a path for success having secured their first client in Europe. Even though they work with major industry players in Brazil, iT.eam is focusing on working with small to medium sized IT companies that understand the importance of cybersecurity. This includes companies that already have a CIO and/or CSO in place and who want a personalised approach to the services that they use. Focusing on smaller clients to begin with exemplifies that they “want to make a difference in the lives of [their] clients, employees, partners, and suppliers,” as Singrid added.

Why The Netherlands and The Hague?

The decision to headquarter their first international expansion in the Netherlands was anything but a spontaneous decision. Their extensive research and search included countries such as Estonia, Portugal, and Sweden and reflects the strategic vission of Thomaz Russi, CEO and Founder of iT.eam. Since founding iT.eam, Thomaz has focused on providing quality and innovation, which also helped guide their expansion into the European market. The Netherland’s mature cybersecurity ecosystem, stable economy, and international reputation were key factors in their decision.

The Hague, known for being the home of the International Court of Justice and Europol, offered iT.eam a unique proximity to cyber authorities and a strategic location within Europe. Singrid stressed the importance of creating a substantial presence in the Netherlands and not just a symbolic move. This means they are looking to hire local technical staff who can interface with their experienced team back in Brazil and bridge any gaps between the two continents. Their positioning as volunteered by Singrid is as “a Dutch company with Brazilian roots.”

Offices

iT.eam have been attending events in the area since the start of 2024 and are building local partnerships and networks to help propel their growth in the Zuid-Holland ecosystem. Their offices are in the World Trade Center The Hague and the HSD Campus and they are looking to become a partner of Security Delta (HSD) to embed themselves fully in The Hague’s cybersecurity ecosystem.
